⁴All this was done to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying:

⁵“Tell the daughter of Zion,
‘Look, your King is coming to you,
humble, and sitting on a donkey,
and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’^[a]”

⁶The disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them.
